The last picture I made of Tomie was alright, but I thought I could go further.  Infernalperson earned an image through Patreon, and it turned out so well that I thought I'd flesh it out.  Which was even more complicated than it looked... I thought her limbs were too short in the initial drawing, so I had to slightly lengthen them in Photoshop.  And believe me, with all the papers and hair flapping around that was time-consuming work.

You might think of this as a companion piece to Sandra's transformation, and likewise hypothetical.  Is this what it was like as Tomie somehow changed from a book to a humanoid form?  Or is this another idealized image?  Hmm.  Maybe we'll see!

Though I'm still not sure if the atmosphere really suits her.  Maybe it suited Tomie the Book, all eldritch and mysterious, but Tomie the Person strikes me as a more upbeat sort of entity.  Maybe we could call it an homage to Frankenstein with those lightning flourishes.

At any rate... kinda sexy as Hell, if I do say so.  I wonder if that was due more to Jack's input, or hers?

Reminds me of Sailor Moons transformation.

While the pages in movement definitely give off a sense that magic's goin' on, I think that somehow Tomie's more defined human anatomy here really compliments and completes the effect, especially if the viewer knows that she's undergoing humanization here!

Makes "Curling up with a good book" seem even more fun than usual.

It's a good picture, good composition, dramatic, and gives us a glimpse of what the plot has hinted at.

I have a quibble though and it's Tomie's body type looks a lot like Zandra's in this pic, up to now in the comic you've presented her with a distinct body shape that is a lot slimmer and gracile.

But then I'm sure getting actualized gives one quite a pump, she's probably been slacking since then and lost all her gainz...

That's very true.  All I can say is that, for a "glamour photo" like this, it's difficult to resist accentuating the muscles a bit.  I think most artists are in love with human anatomy in some way, it's why superheroes always wear those strange sticky jumpsuits.  But yes, Tomie generally does have a more lithe physique.

Marvelous.:-) Btw, I was wondering. Has Tomie always thought of herself/itself as female, or is it a recent development? Or dosen't it really think of itself as anything at all, and the new body is just female so Jack would have something pretty to look at?XD

Hmm... I generally avoid spoilers, but I'll admit that Tomie was originally pretty male.  When I developed the thought to transform him, however, my idea was for Tomie to have always been inherently female (Jack just never noticed that her voice had a feminine cadence because sound doesn't exist in a comic).  That might have changed, though... I've been planning this for a long time, and anything's possible until it's set down on paper.

Fabulous, gorgeous work, excellent detail.

though...guess some of her pages are wax paper, what with a lack of hair...

....I'll see myself out.
