Johanna Hertz by JoeEngland Johanna Hertz by JoeEngland
After the lunacy of a scientific dark age time travel was finally developed as a safe avenue of endeavor, and the 51st century became an epoch of adventure. The girl who calls herself Johanna Hertz wants a piece. And she doesn't care who she has to tear it away from.
Dashing characters like Captains Jack Harkness and John Hart are Johanna's inspiration, and she aims to follow in their footsteps and make a name for herself between the stars. For what better life to lead? What reason is there to live one's life by half measures? Since gleefully abandoning a secure home on Venus she's gotten her career well under way, in spite of her youth and relative inexperience. Already she's illegally traveled through time on more than one occasion, visited the forbidden planet Kembel, stolen hymetusite and escaped with a discarded Vortex Manipulator from the disposal labs of the Time Agency. Messy work, that.
But it's all part of the agenda. As a matter of fact, Johanna hopes to impress the Time Agency and perhaps be accepted as an Agent herself. This would surely prove to be thrilling and fulfilling, though of course she'll go rogue sooner or later afterwards. It's important to plan ahead. And yet, the ultimate career move would be to snag the Doctor!
She's heard the myths, and she's paid attention. Even more legendary than the rogues of the Time Agency is the Doctor, the Oncoming Storm, the wild card rumored to be the last Lord of Time! And what luck. She seems to have found him while he's traveling with a rubbish companion! It's plain to see he doesn't even like the twerp. It shouldn't be hard to show him what a real companion can do! There's no doubt about it, she'll be a crewmember on board the greatest of time machines, the ultimate ride, and that little girl better just step quietly aside! Because Johanna wants the Doctor on her resume... and if she can't be his partner she'll be the one who brings him in to the Agency on a silver platter. Either way, no bespectacled geekling is going to prove a match for Johanna Hertz!
Though she is pretty cute, she'll give her that.

Sounds fun, and I agree with the previous comment, it does sound like she'd fit right in with the story/writing style of Dr. Who.

See, now this REALLY sounds like the sort of thing you'd find in a Doctor Who series. You're impressing me more and more mate - I didn't even think Americans had heard of the Doctor!
