Cthulhu Rising

Wow! It's been a while, eh? When I take a break from something, I really take a damn break! This is a nice gallery I got here, it's high time I got back to it.
So here's a couple of really old school projects. The assignment was to paint an image which could be used as a cover for a horror magazine, or... something. It's been a long time.
They're certainly not my best work, but then, paint has never been my specialty. They did both get me an "A" grade, though. So here, maybe you'll like them.
I'm most happy with the Cthulhu image... a number of things just seemed to go right when I was making it. Lucky thing too, since I was totally just screwing around.
Looks kind of cheerful, really.
